On this week’s show, Paul Akers and Jon Lussier continue their discussion with Samuel Korb from Lean Israel, discussing the Lean innovations and advancement of the Nation of Israel. A country the size of New Jersey and a population of 7.1 million has one of the most advanced societies in technology, education, and military in the world. They also highlight topics covered in the book The Startup Nation.

Thanks Paul and Samuel. If you think about, drop-in cells is the only way. We can’t pull in and wait for 8 hours before work. So quick swap-out with standard cell package is only way. Guess we could even have cell delivery service like pizza (for those of us who will forget to plug in at night). Why don’t we hear infrastructor ideas aligned around this pack and go concept yet in US? Maybe there is, but have not heard. In US, we could power service stations with natural gas generators to cycle the drop offs. Eventually, those generators swapped out with hydrogen power cells or something. The generator units designed as large drop in containers for consistency and easy of replacement and service. Maybe instead each city has a central hub that turns around fresh packs to service stations that recycle back on a double-buffer. One new container always dropped off, “empty” container gets cycled back. Kinda same concept as propane tank swap stations, but larger scale.
